Our Founder's Journey
WOOD-NESS was founded by a beauty professional with over 30 years of experience as a Skin Care Therapist. Drawing on expertise gained in spas across Japan and internationally, she developed the innovative "KOMYO FACE DESIGN®"光明 facial technique.

CNF Innovation: The Clean Beauty Revolution
At the heart of our formulation is CNF (Cellulose Nanofiber). This revolutionary fiber, which is extracted from Japanese bamboo creates a moisture-sealing network that envelops the skin and provides lasting hydration.
Bamboo nanofibers are rich in vitamins, minerals, amino acids and silica, which act as natural polymers that enhance skin luminosity and suppleness.
What is CNF?
CNF is created through the process of refining plant-derived cellulose to nano-scale dimensions (widths ranging from several to hundreds of nanometers). With minimal environmental impact, CNF represents next-generation sustainable biomass technology.
